Privacy notice

This notice explains how we handle your information when you join the BoutCrew waitlist.

Who we are

BoutCrew is a pre-launch project building a Crew network for combat sports. A formal legal entity will be registered before product launch, and this notice will be updated to identify it. For all data protection matters, contact us at hello@boutcrew.com.

What we collect

• Your email address (required)
• Your country (optional)
• Whether you signed up as Crew or as an Organiser
• Your interface language at sign-up
• Sign-up date and time
• Your IP address, briefly, for spam protection — not stored by us

Why we collect it

One purpose only: to email you when BoutCrew opens, and to send a small number of pre-launch updates. We will not use it for anything else.

Legal basis

Consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You give consent by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time.

Who processes it

• Cloudflare — hosting, bot protection (Turnstile). EU edge servers, US headquartered, Standard Contractual Clauses in place.
• Resend — email delivery and contact storage. EU data center (Ireland), US headquartered, Standard Contractual Clauses in place.
• The BoutCrew team.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, or until twelve months after BoutCrew opens — whichever comes first. After that, your email is removed from our systems.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use marketing cookies, behavioural tracking, or fingerprinting. Two strictly necessary measurements take place:

• Cloudflare bot protection — sets strictly necessary cookies (cf_clearance, __cf_bm) to protect the site against attacks. Exempt from consent under the EU ePrivacy Directive.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics — measures aggregate visit counts, page load performance, and Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS). Cookieless beacon — no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting, no advertising identifiers. Data stays within Cloudflare's privacy-by-design analytics platform.

Your GDPR rights

• Access the data we hold about you
• Correct it if it is wrong
• Delete it (right to be forgotten)
• Receive it in a portable format
• Object to or restrict our use of it
• Withdraw your consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority

Updates to this notice

If we change this notice meaningfully, we will email everyone on the waitlist before the change takes effect.
